ls7 clutch question

Default ls7 clutch question

im lookin to buy a clutch for my turbo 4.8l project and was lookin at ls7 clutches. can i use the complete ls7 clutch and flywheel? i see alot of people use the ls7 clutch but with a ls2 flywheel.

How much power do you plan on making? I don't think the LS7 clutch is going to be up for it.

im using a ls2 flywheel with my ls7 clutch i bought it all as a package

I could be wrong but I believe you us a LS2 flywheel because a LS7 clutch wont bolt to a LS1 flywheel, and a LS7 flywheel wont bolt to a LS1. But a LS7 clutch will bolt to a LS2 flywheel, and a LS2 flywheel will bolt to a LS1 motor. With that said a LS7 clutch probably wont hold the power of a turbo motor very long, and is a somewhat heavy clutch/flywheel combo, add that to a little turbo lag and and your gana be a little slow off the line. I also noticed Monster clutches are on sale at the WS6 Store right now so if you order soon a level 2 would only cost $120 more than a LS7 clutch.

LS2/LS7 Flywheel is the same thing.
