LQ4 replacement pistons? What are options? Picked up a LQ4 today as pretty much a buildable core. Haven't torn it down yet to see if it will need pistons, but if so what are my options? Anything out there to get the compression up? Was thinking of using L92 or LS3 heads, but not set in stone.

I don't think there would be anything wrong with the pistons in the motor unless it was hurt. But, if you're looking to bump the compression up, look for a set of 2004-up LQ9/LS2 flat top pistons with the floating pins.
