Thumbs up Follow Along with Tick Performance as we A&A SUPERCHARGE Michael's C6 Vette (PICS)!

Michael had done a few minor upgrades to his 2005 Corvette (headers, etc), but he was looking for a MAJOR power increase. When he stumbled across our Discounted Installed & Tuned Package on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/110744758439/), he knew what he had to do: he called us up, scheduled his appointment and dropped his LS2 C6 off last week.

Michael is getting the full A&A Package, which features the Polished Vortech V-2 Si Trim Head Unit. A&A advertises a ~175rwhp increase - we can't wait to see if they deliver!

We do a TON of ProCharger installs and we're relatively new to the A&A Kits, but my techs have already noticed quite a few things that they like about the A&A kit versus the ProCharger alternative. One big advantage: belt wrap!

As you can see, this build is still under way! We'll definitely keep you updated with progress as we go along. To get all the newest updates (or for more info on this and any build that we do), you can do the following:

What does the V-2 Si compare to in terms of Prochargers? P1, D1, F1? Is that a 6-rib belt design as well?

I have stumbled across these exact kits from this vendor on ebay before, too bad I dont posess the car they are built for... The shop that tuned my combo said the LS2 vette they tuned made 630RWHP with full exhaust and this kit pushing 8lbs on a dynojet.

The Vortech Si is good to ~800 horsepower, so I'd liken it to the P-1SC. The T-Trim is good to ~900 horsepower, so it's ProCharger equivalent is the D-1SC. The Vortech V-2 head units are not self contained (they share oil with the engine), whereas their V-3 head units ARE self contained. The 8-rib drive upgrade is $1100 and was not opted for (and is not required for) this build.

The build is progressing nicely! The intercooler is mounted and is going to look great behind the front bumper when everything is buttoned back up:

...The motor looks awesome with the blower hanging off the front of it:

...and the fuel pump booster hidden in the rear driver's spare tire well is a nice touch, as well:

It'll be on the dyno soon! Stayed tuned either here or by liking us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Tick-P...69548263090089

Michael is picking his car up today! We're all finished with the install and tune, and I think our tech that installed this kit said it best: "this thing is BAD ***!"

Everything under the hood looks finsihed and complete. The Polished Vortech head unit looks as good as it performs!

We'll post up a dyno graph and video later today, first on Facebook and then later in this thread. Make sure to give us a like on Facebook and get some guesses in on how much power the car made - I've been known to send T-Shirts to guys who get it right!

I love the way the centrifugal blowers look in vette engine bays.

Nice job, I'm sure the owner will be more than happy.

I agree - looks like the blower is meant to be there.
