5.3 LM7 w/ 00' LS1 Cam?
I'm about to buy a 00' LS1 camshaft, and I was wondering if it'd just go right into my LM7? I'm pretty positive it will, but I just want to clarify before I buy it.
Do I need the pushrods and springs too? Or can I just put the cam in by itself and be good to go?

Or the LS2 cam has the same exact lift and duration and lsa .........as the 2001 LS6 cam ,,,,,,,,,You can usually find an LS2 cam on here in the classifieds 4 about $50-60 then $60 4 new LS6 springs and $35 4 the newer style timing cover that has cam sensor in it ( just switch the 2 outside wires of the 3 wire plug) . I know more work than some poeple want 2 do but You can't always find an LS6 cam in classifieds if You're in a hurry . The 2001 LS6 cam and the LS2 cams will improve power throughout the rpm range and it will retain a little more of the low-mid torque ,,,,,,,,,,not quite as much top end as the 2002-2004 LS6 cam but if You have a truck engine (truck intake) the lower lift cam works better 4 the low-mid range . So it depends what You're goals are .
