Why not just go with the direct fit 2 bar? Do they have a 2.5 that fits without any modification.

Yeah I'm going ls6 intake and using my ported tbody. Two of the fuel pumps I listed above work? And the torque arm is already welded to the M9 housing.

I heard the front mount intercooler sucks *** to put in because you have to custom make piping to not hit the hood. And you have to bend an entire new inlet tube.

With the trans go with level III.
Don't use the pinning kit, have a key way cut in the crank.
Go with Lonnies twin in tank pumps.
Diamond pistons and callies rods are a good choice, and about 9.5 compression.
Good luck on your build.

if you say 9.5, would 9.7 be acceptable lmao, cuz the street/strip dish LS1 62cc is 9.7 CR Part# 11503, (8) and then rods+bearings and the EPP cam

That would be ok. It also depends on the piston dish and the head gasket you use. Looks like a pretty good build and your on the right track!

I agree, the 9.7 would be just fine. For boost you want a nice thick ringland on the piston. It is better to bring the compression down with a larger cylinder head cc. Bob

That was with the SS hood. I have pic's at the link here of what is required for it to work with the SS hood. http://shop.brutespeed.com/ATI-1GJ11...-1GJ115-IC.htm Bob

Ok, thanks bob. Would it be easier to trim the hood, or mod the tubing to make it fit on my ss hood? and i was thinking about going with AFR 225 heads.

Look at the K1 rod/Wiseco package. Both are really good and wont break the bank.

You're welcome. I would mod the tubing. I haven't checked but the guys at ProCharger might have already done it so that it accommodates the SS hood. AFR 225 heads are what I had on my Camaro, here is a video of the car.
