Default 98+ 2wd truck transmission
I think I seen somewhere someone posted that 98+ 4l60e truck transmission will work in my 98 T/A I'd just have to change tail cones. This is correct right?

i believe its 99 up, silverado 4.8,5.3,6.0 based engines, The tail housing an shifter linkage on side of trans has to be changed out to the fbody style aswell. Which all this is simple

This 60e came out of a 98 ext cab with the 5.7. Will it still work or what's my best option?
