at a changing point.. which should i do?

well recently my trans (4l60E) has been having hard 1-2 shifts but now it is starting to slip when it is freshly fired up badly to get my car moving in reverse, i had to get to 3K RPM to get her to budge. after she warmed up, all is fine, but still have that problem. i can take my guess that is a sure sign the trans is on her way out. so the question i have is simple. should i rebuild her, swap her for a 6 speed, or just flush the trans and see if it helps?

what do you do with the car, the cost of 6 speeds have gone sky high, so if your on a budget a rebuild might be a better idea, but even some rebuilds cost.there is not enough info for me to tell you anything

Not sure about your plans or set up, but what about a 4L80E swap? Some can be had for pretty cheap!

How does the trans move if freshly fired up and trying to go forward first? Also what mods do you have done to your car and what do you plan on doing with it?

about the same forward. and mods none other than intake and exhaust, but am planning on going boosted
