Default A2W Intercooler Setup for the Street

Does anyone have some suggestions on what I could do? The plan is to make a maximum of 700 rwhp. I would like to do air to water to keep from cutting up the bumper as well as being a bit more sneaky. What are my options?

PS:
I know air to air would be sufficient... Just wanted to know if it would be worth it to try something different.

Put it where your heater core is.

You could run one of the smaller ones in the front or under where the fuse box area is. For the street you should run the water tank AND a heat exchanger. Obviously mine is much more "lightweight" but the same setup could be managable without cutting the stuff off. The APS kits come over the top of the radiator support in place of the airbox.

Hey David, where do you have your trans cooler mounted at?

Going along with this thread, and thinking about how some people mount their trans cooler inside the water tank.

In for info on this as well. I have a new combo going together and I'm going to need an air to water exchanger. Key point being its still a street car. I'm looking at a little higher power level though. It looks and sounds as though something similar to TransAmatt99's setup would work well for your needs. Honestly for that power range A2A ia going to be the easiest route but if you did want to to a A2W his setup looks like it would work well.

My trans cooler is mounted on the passenger front of the radiator with a fan between it and the rad.
my 5 gal water box for the intercooler is quick disconnect to remove during colder months, so cant put the trans cooler in there, and for true street i wouldnt want it melting my precious ice!
