Crank swap
I am just wondering if it is safe to swap the stock Ls1 crank with a 383 stroker crank? then maybe heads intake and cam? would the rods be able to handle that? I just like the torque that a stroker puts out and everyone seems to be chasing the 500rwhp mark here so i was curious for your opinions.

Thanks for those but is it safe to run it with stock rods and pistons? And if i put an aggresive cam and AFR 215cc heads on along with a fast 102mm setup could i reach the magic 500rwhp?

those are good reads he posted,, I have a 383 that I built myself, and if you think you can just throw a stroker crank in and be done,, NO it is way more than that, You need stroker pistons, and rods, you will need to clearance the block also. It can get costly if you want the good parts, and will add up on price quick for the short block alone,,I assure you.
