i've been building a ls1 383 stroker with forged internals for a couple weeks now. I put manley crank and rods in it and race tec pistons lowering compression to 8.7:1

the anticipation is over and the build is finally done!

why such low compression? how much boost do you plan on running?

I wanna be able to run around 15-18. gotta save up for another blower though

you could of done that on 9.5:1 even.. going to be a dog when not in boost

that depends on how much overlap the cam has...or doesnt have in a blower cam case. a negative overlap will drive the dynamic CR up....

remember not all scenarios are determined by static compression alone.
