Do you have a picture of the back as well? Will my stock TB work as a core?

Can you please post a picture of the outlet with the TB open. What is the actual diameter of the TB blade?

Wow, those look awesome! Any idea on when (if) a Y-body version of the 90mm TB will be available? Please put me on the list as a buyer when it does!

These T-bodies are an all new billet aluminum casting. We still use the stock throttle linkage and spring from the stock units. (why core is required)

Y-body version is available now and in stock. We have tested these units on our 427 packages and picked up anywhere from 23 - 25 rwhp when combined with the FAST 90mm intake. MTI Z07 just dynoed 548 rwhp and 530 rwtq using the 90mm t-body and FAST manifold through a conservative Z1 camshaft.

The TNT nitrous ring will not fit as the opening in the ring is too small. A silicone bellows or Fernco coupler is required when installing this T-body.

More pics attached! (Including 1 pic of the C5 90mm T-body)

Very nice looking TB, I saw one at MTI while I ordered one!! Should be available in a few days as my TB has the 98-99 1/2 TB cam and brown spring. Ordered an 90mm LSX intake as well with both of these going on the 383, should be interesting to see how much I get compared to the 427s.

Thanks Jayson for getting these out before FAST!!

Here's a bump for ya...

They need your TB cam & spring to replace parts they are supplying to build the 90mm TBs, hence the need for a core. If you don't have a core, then you pay for one!

This might be a dumb question but what do we do with the tube that comes off of the passenger valve cover and goes to the TB? I don't see a tube coming off of the new TB. Is it ok just to plug it?

I do not recommend plugging this tube. We have installed a small filter at the end of the hose and attached it right next to the intake. This tube is for fresh air to enter the crankcase and pass through the engine into the pcv valve and feed into the intake manifold.

What are you guys using for a coupler?

I'm trying to figure out which sizes to go from the MAF to the TB - i.e. the bridge and the necessary coupler from the bridge to the TB.

I'm asking for a c5, if it makes any difference...

Thanks,

-J
