(Ai 226 heads)What springs should be used?
What springs do you guys recommend using on the Ai 226 heads
Cam specs 232 236 .595.602..... Options are
1. PSI 1511 MaxLife Endurance Spring Kit w/ OEM Replacement Seals. - Cost: $250
2. Lunati Gold dual valve spring kit w/ lightweight steel retainers. Lift capacity to .660" - Cost: $225
3. Manley 221436 Nextek .660" shot peened & fully polished Dual Spring Kit: $500
These springs kits are from Ai's website but I'm just curious to which kit is best for that cam specs

it depends on the lobe profile of the cam, if it is a rather agressive cam you may need the seat pressure of the dual springs but for stock valves (which AI utilizes) that are not as heavy as oversized stainless valves and a mild to moderate lobe profile, you really can't go wrong with the PSI beehives.
