After looking at a glasspack in my hand i got an idea. Being that it is only a straight pipe with little "Scoops" to pull in some exhaust into the packing, could you install it backwards to let the exhaust flow better and make it louder?
And i cant run straight pipes because it wont pass inspection without a muffler

Turning them around probably would make them a little louder but if a glasspacks would pass inspection and you want it straight why not just get a set of Loudmouth I's. They don't have any packing at all inside them.

I agree nothing will change much but in my experience, reversing it gives it a slightly louder tone, however once all the packing burns out, it's a crap shoot.

I have a 8inch cherry bomb muffler now. here is a pick next to my old dynomax bullet. its stupid loud now.

Well what about burning all the packing out by pouring lighter fluid and burning it. Then put it on backwards??? I dont think it would hurt anything would it?
