HELP, after rear end swap
I hit a curb some months ago on the passanger side rear wheel, everything seemed fine when it happened, 2 days later I got what sounds like a grind on the back, not sure where it was coming from I ignored it and drove the car like that, car would then only make the "grinding" noise after I stepped on it all the way or on heavy load on light car driving everything is fine
2 days ago I got a diff from a member here and finished today swaping it out, and went from my stock 2.73s to this 3.23 rear end, and used my old 2.73 axels on the 3.23 rear, but everything back together everything seemed fine just that my brakes are really loose, im thinking something with the inside drum on the disc rotor??? well have to inspect
Anyways, drove the car and stepeed on it not full throttle but enough to see if the "grinding" sound was gone, seems its still their???? I am lost right here what could I have dont wrong?
put synthetic valvoline diff oil and new gasket, im lost not sure its its the rear or the exahust or what it can be but it definately sound somewhere in the back??
thanks for any support

i'd do as suggested and remove the driveshaft and spin the dif. although, if you only hear something under a load, this may not solve anything. a loose axle prob has something to do with the backing plate or c clip....
