Default PT7675, PT7675 CEA (Billet), PT7875 or Other

I've been reading all the posts regarding this turbo and am looking to purchase. But now, am in a dilemma as to which one.
-PT7675 rated at 1,160HP, cast wheel, no CEA turbine wheel
-PT7875 rated at 1,180HP(?), cast wheel, 78mm compressor inducer, no CEA turbine wheel, capable of making more HP than the 7675 but with the same characteristics?
-PT7675 CEA rated at 1200HP, billet wheel, 76mm compressor inducer, CEA turbine wheel.

Can the 7875 make more HP than the PT7675 CEA and have similar characteristics without the CEA turbine?

From a technical perspective, the 7675 CEA is the one to purchase since it's been updated with the CEA wheels, but the 7875 may be the slightly cheaper alternative with the 78mm inducer.

Is the 7675 CEA that advanced in which to overlook the 7875?

In for some reply's. I'm going PT7675 CEA but would like to hear what others have to say.

Also, is it worth paying the extra for the waterless cooled ball bearing option? I don't mind ponying the money if it means quicker spool and maybe a little more power along with it.

Honestly, I'd just buy whichever is cheapest if you're set on a Precision 76. I love my 7875.

Also look into comp turbo. Comparable to the pte7675 but with a slightly larger turbine wheel, 79mm compared to a 75 pt. Can get them up to a 80mm comp too.

Buy the best, then you wont have any regrets or second thoughts about what you could have had.

And the BB core will spool a bit earlier, but it's more of a requirement on high boost setups rather than relying on a plain old oil journal thrust bearing.
If using less than 20psi, the BB would not be as much of an advantage.

if it was my money though, I'd still buy the full BB unit. In the overall scheme of things, what's an extra few hundred dollars ? A few tanks of fuel ?

whats the application? I can get anything you need.

The 7675 is a bad dog. That wheel is impressive. I would be concerned with turbine flow, if you are doing anything with substantial cubic inches.

You might want to step up to a 7685 if you have decent cubes, and plan or want to spin it. If its an auto car, I would stuff as much turbine as I could, as boost recovery and transient boost response will not be an issue.

Tell me more about the setup, and that will help.

From my testing, the 76mm CEA wheel flows 100-150 more rwhp than the standard cast 76.
