Default Vacuum

I just recently had a D1SC installed and I have a question about vacuum. When I first got the car back my boost/vac gauge would read about 3-5 inches of vacuum driving under normal conditions. Now I see anywhere from 10-18 inches of vacuum. Im new to boost and I wanted to get some opinions from you guys to see if I have a problem or not.

Thanks

Ok I got the car up in the air and checked and tightened all the couplers from the head unit to the throttle body. Then cranked her up, and I am still seeing 10-18 inches of vacuum. Can anyone suggest anything else to check or look for?

Thanks
