What pads/backing plate to get for PC7424

What pads/backing plate to get for PC7424 Just picked up a used PC 7424 this morning. There is a old W65 Maroon/Reddish semihard backer on it now. Would you recommend the new style black flexable backer W65 or w68. And what Meguiars pads would you choose i have Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Meguiars Ultimate Polish and then finish with Meguiars NXT 2.0 wax. The car has already been clayed. Just looking on what Meguiars pads to go with what backer plate and the products that i already have. The problem i have is i've been reading so much on the whole detailing thing that it's starting to get alittle confusing or maybe just old age! Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED
