Stock 243 heads milled.007. Ms4 cam installed straight up. Dual prc springs, 7.4 rods, ls7 lifters. stock bottom end.
Checked ptv with clay and no head gasket. Came out to .045 clearance. Does this sound right? And can I use the stock lifters to check ptv or will they collapse too far? Thanks in advance

The lifters will collapse too far, skewing the results. You need to use a solid lifter. With no headgasket, you're gonna touch the piston anyways.
