Which y pipe?
02 ss. Pacesetter headers. The current y is a hodge podge mess. Which y will fit best? The tsp seems awfully pricey. Is it that much better then the one pacesetter makes?

i run the tsp one and i had to do a minor cutting modification. truth is, a custom one fabbed up into a flowmaster merge will give you the best gains and tuck up the best under your car. it probably wouldn't run you that much more then the pre made y pipes either

alot of people run the TSP with pace setter headers so if you want a wuick bolt on fix go with that...if you want something that will give you better sound and flow have a shop help you either make or cut a y pipe and have it do into the flowmaster merge

^ No joke. Get the tsp, its also not all that pricey. I fabbed mine because i had the means to do it, but honestly it looked like it would have probably been fine without it.

I see that is not the full y-pipe section. So are y'all saying it is better to use the sort y section then the full one that cost $350???
Whoops. Answered my own question. One is with cats and the other with dogs. Thx.

No, it is the full y pipe, I just took a picture of the merge only. You get the full stainless y pipe for $130 from TSP. The one for $350 has cats.
I have this: http://www.texas-speed.com/p-293-tex...ad-y-pipe.aspx
I just took a pic of the merge to show the quality.

like i said before, you might have to make minor modifications but i only cut the pipe going into the driver side header about a 1/2". Then to get it in, i used a 2x4 on blocks to act as a pry to get it to "snap" in place. get creative with getting it in and don't get discouraged, it most definitely fits!

Before I bought my tsp ory I looked all around for the best deal, there were no sites with free shipping and they all were the same price. I'd just buy it from TSP because you will know for sure you are getting the new stainless steel design, not the old one with the crappy merge. Just my .02
