Default Cam help

I know I could search but everyone has different setups! I have a ls1 out of 99 camaro that I am swaping in to my roller. The car consists of 4.10's and a 4l60e with a 3600 stall. I will be purchasing a cam sometime this month and am looking for any input I can get. As far as any other mods it will just be a stock short block with a possible intake manifold upgrade down the road and at most a set of heads. I have experience with the texas speed v2 which I had in my zo6. And also a good buddy of mine had the lg g5x3 cam which made really good numbers but didn't idle worth crap it was a 110+2 lsa. So I am looking for something a little better then the v2, but I would also like it to idle some what decent. Also I am not looking for a cam that I would have to fly cut the pistons for! Hopefully that is a good enough discription of what I am looking for lol. Thanks!

Have you checked out our Torquer V.3? It has a higher powerband than the Torquer V.2, at 2300-6700, but with the more aggressive intake lobe and tighter lobe separation (standard) it also allows for better midrange over the V.2.

I have the 228R from TSP and although it wont put out as big number as the v2/v3 but the idle is amazing and it has a great power band and works great for a DD!
