Is it a sheet metal intake? What do you think it would have done with a FAST102?
Which converter? Was it locked?

We were rolling into throttle as not to have tranny down shifting. WOT above 4000 rpm.

back !! to back runs !! very happy !! i been sayin !! its not just about hp its hp and tq under curve ..this has heavy rods for no2 big split in cam ...in some places im 60 hp up over my 441 lol avg 40 threw whole curve ...and that is first day !!! :canadaflag:big thanks to whole team @ Champion Motors :D

Ahhh I re read that you want you start at 300 NOS. I'm building similar set up few less cubes, 12-1 comp E 85 similar spec HR cam, carys ls7 285 cc heads carys Cnc ls7 manifold custom Sv1 prosystems carb and up to 225 NOS and my cam is on a 108 icl more of a n/a engine

carrys stuff is great ran the etp head for years ..love the intake too ..wanted to try something differt ...happy with the slow radus turn on allpro intake ..happy with the ### with the nitrous cam and heavier rods ..and convertor ...cant wait to go to track to sort out were im at.... im happy north of 140 mph :D

sounds like a realy nice build :usa: Rob will send you a pm ..## sounds high thow ..746 rwhp pump gas street car ? .... fly wheel makes more sence to mee ...but maybe you guys know more about hp then meee ..keep us updated to my histroy i have never seen 750 rwhp NA ever !! in lsx cars !! not on utube.. with car and dyno in it ..

the 454 is not a high rever lol and my reluctor wheel will not work past 7500 rpm sooo...have a great day !

Awesome motor and set-up. Those All-Pro heads are the bees knees and so is his new intake. Is that the 2 pc. intake? 4500 flange? 2.125 intake valve?

Bad ass I love it man, are you sure though you want to start at a 300 shot and not start smaller just to get a handle on the tune-up?

hi thanks its 4500 acufab , i hope he ment rwhp lol ...and we will test before track tune at 200 shoot build it from there ...but track 300 for sure .:D

some times you question your mind on decisions to go where others have not ..and you wonder if your on your own.. and im i the only one who wants to do something different ?? ..and well ..here is the extent of the support .i got PETE @ CHAMPION MOTORS is a Dream maker ! i had a vision about the hood after i battled back and forth on intake choice.s ...boy im a lucky guy to have guys to help me with my dream ..of 650 + rwhp na ..and looking good ...the pic above ..is great !! but my gratitude will be lifelong ..

sorry im having a few snags on fitment on air cleaner ....as you know fitment is tight ..give me another day ...im so glad im almost driving

with that much power and torque through an auto with decent converter I would be SHOCKED if it didn't go 9.50's on any track with a crappy DR! 200 shot with that setup should get you your 8.90 at 150 as long as it can 60ft decent (1.4)...nice solid setup!

thanks for your imput ..has merit !! however i'd prefer to not guess and just lay it down ..not to make excuses but the 4l60 is like a lady sometimes and needs finesse :)

Yeah I would have stayed in it a little longer that thing was still making power. I would love to see that kinda curve out of my LSX 454. That's useable everyday power on tap.

But it just looks so sexy with the air cleaner off. I'd drive it like that just to show it off. Put some stainless screen over the TB to keep out squirrels and stuff.

What are the street manners of this setup? If I could get even 600whp out of my lsx454 I would be in heaven but don't want to lose the street manners completely. It's crazy how power just keeps climbing.

I'm def gonna be changing over to those heads and changing my cam up I need to wake this bad boy up get it up there in the 500+whp range.

It is difficult to make out the colors on your thumb nail of the two power runs, but did the air cleaner actually improve the low end torque?

Yes, air filter straighten the air smoother for more low end torque.
