What are the options for a DBW pedal for a 2004 Truck 5.3 engine?
I was wondering what options I have?? I already spliced and modified the stock truck pedal and it looks "ok" but I am concerned about the tension in the pedal since it has a shorter throw....basically fatigue from pushing down on it.
I may be able to install a spring with less tension, but that is a last resort.
Honestly I would rather replace it with either another pedal or an aftermarket pedal like lokar.....but I don't think anything is being made for this year, everything i have seen is for like 2006 and 2007 engines.
The corvette 1997-2002 pedal would have been perfect fit wise....but it won't work
Help or suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I have a truck pedal in my 1971 El Camino. I chopped about 3 inches out of it I think. Still not to hard to push. No more then my factory cable pedal that's for sure. Its softer. I wouldn't be to worried about the extra tension. The pedals are made to jam your foot down on. I know I'm not real gentle with mine and I've never heard anyone say they had a pedal fail.
