Default what do you guys with city water do?

i have city water at my new apartment, and the particles/whatever they put in the water leaves spots that are a pain to get off........windex wont take them off the windows, i gotta lysol, then use windex to get those marks off, and then i need to really scrub the body with spray wax and a microfiber......is there like a filter that i can put on the end of my hose so the water spots arent so bad? what do you guys do?

You could start by drying the car properly before the water dries up... Eliminates 99% of water spotting issues. There are filters you can buy like what was posted above, but I've never used them.

Here's a tip - when you do a final rinse, take any attachments off the hose and just drape the car in water, it will sheet most the water off the car. Then, finish up with a really good towel like the Cobra Guzzler which is what I use:

I don't have any water spot problems doing it this way.

This is how I do it... If you actually dry the car the proper way (this can be considered one of the proper ways), you don't have any water spot issues.
