Hey guys,
My name is Ashley. I'm the owner of DFW GM Elite.
While you may think we are just "ricers" as Mike96z so kindly put it we have all kinds of cars in our club.
We have LS1 camaro, firebirds, CTS-V's, cobalt, ions, cavys, GM trucks and several other models.
We have some people who are all about power, and some that are more about show.
We are an all GM club. Meaning we accept all GM models whether they be 4, 6, or 8 cylinders.
The pinto was a joke, the host of the dyno day told Tim that if he had the lowest dyno of the day that he would give him a lap dance so Tim (who is the owner of a shop) brought out his pinto just for the fun of it.
I wouldn't really call a cobalt that makes 438HP rice anyway.
Now when the club started it was mostly ions/cobalts because I as the owner had a 2.2 ion and knew mostly other ions/cobalts. (I now have a 2.0 Supercharged Ion now)
If you are interested in joining us we would be happy to have you as long as you respect other members the way they will respect you.
We have a meet every other Sunday at the Bone Daddy's in Grapevine and attend other events such as the Lonestar GM Bash that was this past weekend.

What is your "scene" if I may ask. And what scene do you think we are part of?
I think it's funny that ya'll are calling us ricers when we have cars that would drag your *** down the highway..

We are just a group of GM cars that hang out/mod days/go to events together.
I consider most in the club to be my family/great friends and oddly enough I can count on them more than I can some of my real blood.
We have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS that is turbo swapped that makes 438HP.

So you don't take time to make new friends? Go to events? Learn about other cars from the owners themselves vs forums/internet?

I don't understand why being in a club is gay.

You can't tell me that a car that makes more than double what it did from the factory isn't impressive.
While I don't know what your car makes and it is probably more than 438 as I can see a intercooler in the front bumper of your car (if that's your car in the pic)
However, my comment was more directed to Mike96z who called us ricers and from his profile only says he makes 340Hp

You had said that you stuck with people you already knew is why I asked if you didn't like to make new friends.

Blah, I'll leave it at that.
Just because we have 4 cylinders we are automatically ricers to this community. Doesn't matter what we have done to our cars or how much horse power we make you guys won't respect any of us.
