Default Are ARP head bolts safe for Alum block?

Took the heads off my engine today and realized the bolts are not as tight as they would be on a traditional SBC. I suspect this is because its aluminum. Makes me wonder, is it smart to install ARP steel bolts into an aluminum block? I would assume the torque would be greater to get the stretch/clamping force from the ARP bolt.

yes its safe... if your worried about the tightness of the bolts then switch to head studs. i have put a few LS heads on that didnt feel as tight as i though they should have... still runnen with no problems to this day
