Main Bearings and HD Clutches
Greetings all,
I need to order a set of bearings for my build and wanted to know if OEM, particularly the thrust bearings, would be OK with running a heavy duty clutch? I'm not really sure if these motors experience any crank walk or accelerated wear due to heavy pressure plates, but better safe than potentially having to replace main seals all the time.
Any suggestions if the OEM's, or even Clevite's, would be less than desirable?
EDIT: This will be for a boosted LY5 block, which is why I posted here.
