Exclamation t56 transmission question???

Hey guys my dad and I are working on a 71 camaro thats got a t56 in it. we'd like to use the original gauge cluster. Is there any way to make the speedometer work since it has the cable? is there any kind of adapter or conveter made?

If the T56 has a VSS sendor on it, you can use a Cable-X Box to get your speedo to work. It ataches to the VSS and drives a cable to your old speedo.

Else you would be to use one of the conversion kits to convert to Cable from VSS. Jags that Run has a tail shaft conversion kit. Costly tho..

Do a search (both here and on the Internet).
