Default Questions on RED

I'm looking at 98 thru 2002 WS6's and the color red is one of my top color choices. Is the red used during these five years all the same color? Some pics I've seen appear less deep (more orange) than others. Has anyone with red experienced any fading from the sun? Any other problems with red (other than cops being attracted to it!)?

Thanks in advance!

They should all be the same color. The pictures you are seeing might have been taken with a camera that doesn't take pictures of red objects very well. It is common and may just be the lighting.

And yes it will attract cops and basically anyone else because it is the color red. Cops like to call it "Arrest-me-red"

I don't recommend red b/c when it fades from sun damage it is really noticeable. My 94 Camaro was red and you could tell the car was about four different colors and it was never repainted. It just faded really bad.

My car is a 98 and it's red. It still looks brand new to me. It depends on how u take care of the paint.

Yeah, you guys are probably right. I bought that Camaro used with 120k miles on it and the guy I bought it from had it sitting on his lawn for almost a year.

My 98 is red and looks like the day it was built. It all depends in how it's cared for.
