Default Truck intake fuel press reg options

Appears that the factory installed regulator doesnt add pressure as the motor gets boost. Most pressure I've seen is 60psi. Anything I can do to the factory reg to add pressure during boost, or do I have to go aftermarket?

I was under the impression that a boost-ref regulator was needed to add pressure during boost conditions?? Something about the injector now has to work against boost pressure and additional pressure was needed to maintain the pressure drop across the injector or something.

Hey If I dont need it - I wont be too upset!!!
