ERL 500ci in F-Body. FITMENT & HEADERS
My friend is thinking about getting 500ci for his 98' Z/28 M6
His car has manual steering rack and EWP, so no concern about belt length since he is using BMR alterator bracket
Are there any fitment issues by adding ~ 0.8" with cowl ??
Are there any 2" headers out there to fit this engine in fbody ?
We would like to do it without k-member drop spacers if possible
Thanx

I'm sure there will be some custom modifications with the taller deck block in any vehicle. I have personally seen a ERL 500 in a C5 with a LS7 intake on it clear the stock hood. The motor mounts were custom but the car was able to retain all the stock features. AC,PS,CC... It was a very tight fit but it got in there. Hope this helps.
