Removing SideMold & TransAm lettering? post your pics
So i have been considering doing so.
Im pretty set on removing the side molding
but also considering removing the trans am lettering at the bottom of the door to help smooth out the appearence but it may be too much.
has anyone else done this?
pics of either or please
thanks

goo gone, rub it on, let it set for a few minutes, it dissolves the adhesive. one small bottle let me do all the door trim on both sides with about half left. just rubbed it on with my fingers, let it sit for a bit... then ran a SOFT plastic scraper across it to take 99% of it off and then a MF towel to buff any remaining residue away with some additional goo gone.

i ended up having one door repainted (along with the bumpers) the other door they were able to salvage with a good buffing.
i don't mind the side mouldings on the trans am since they fit the mould of the door. but the mustang had those stupid wide ugly rental car strips which had to go.

Thats what happened with my truck i had a feeling the truck and been to paint before on one side and removing the moulding confirmed it i like the moulding on the t/a so far if it gets torn up from people bumping it i might take it off but until then it stays. i'de leave the letters but thats just my personal taste

As I'd said in my appearance thread, excuse the headlight cover/hood not lining up. Literally got the thing on and buffed last minute before having to drive down to Charlotte for AutoFair
The side molding was removed by the previous owner, I removed the Trans AM badges myself last week. Used a heat gun on low setting and a plastic putty knife to pop them off. There was a good bit of thick residue left over so I used a drill and rubber wheel to knock off a majority of it and then glass cleaner to remove the rest.
