Generation III Internal Engine - 85mm Throttle Body

I just got me a 1999 trans am ws6 6 speed, the only upgrades are only surpose be the exhaust, i was wondering if i put an 85mm Throttle Body on it would it have to be reprogrammed. any advise would be thankful.

It is pointless to do so. First see if you have LTs and adequate exhaust system. Then a LS6 intake. If you are set on running bigger than OEM tb, check TPIS for 90mm conversion.
If you're set on tb mod only, then port the OEM.
