i'm puting on heads soon..im saving the money and getting the cam as well but i was wondering, while im in there should i go ahead and replace the lifters and rockers. the motor only has 30k on it. im not going with a monster cam but i am goin slightly agressive

At 30k I'd say your lifters are fine and so are your rockers. I'd look into the trunion upgrade for the rockers at least if it were me.

I agree with the turnion upgrade, but I'd swap out the lifters for ls7's, and ls2 lifters trays.

If you are not doing a monster cam make sure you don't do monster valve springs. Limit the open spring pressure to 400 pounds or less and the rest of the valvetrain will be quieter and more reliable.

Why such a huge split with cathedral port heads? Do you have stock exhaust?
