LM4 with GTO ECU Base Tune Advice
Hey guys,
I've got a LM4 in a 1986 944 Turbo. I had to change over to a LS1 intake, LS1 injectors and rail, and LS1 throttle body (cable driven throttle) in order to get everything to fit under the hood. I also have custom long tubes, but the rest is stock, including cam.
I currently have it running but would like to start with a clean base file. The ECU currently has a 2004 GTO calibration on it. Would starting with a stock calibration from the GTO be alright, or would I need to copy all the maps and constants over from a Rainier and then deal with the IFR and such? What would be the best way around this? Thanks!
