Default Clear Airlid, then SES?

Did anyone else throw a code after the Airlid install? I didn't at first, but now I have one. Also installed a smooth bellows but that shouldn't make a difference, should it?

double check the IAT sensor plug to make sure it's in all the way, if not, it will throw a code for high voltage (meaning it's not plugged in). Hope that helps.

Was about to say the same

Other than that, I have never heard of installing a lid and/or smooth bellows that would throw a code. Get it scanned before you do anything though, it could be anything, probably something not related to the lid/bellows at all

I threw an SES code when I did the FRA mod. Took it to the dealer and they said it was two air sensors or something like that. They replaced it under warranty. Maybe something similiar since both mods add more air to the engine. Good luck!

Could be the IAT, you may of damaged it. Check the other wires around there too. I did a spark plug wire change and got and SES code 15 miles later, turned out to be bad AIR valves, so the lesson is it may not have anything to do with the lid.

I threw a code and it turned out to be my IAT sensor.
