not sure what route to go on my car (motor wise)
i have a ls1 with cam port polished 853 heads stock ls1 intake and built 4l60e with 3600 converter and 410 gears.
i would like to swap a l92 6.2 with a cam with th400 or maybe a 6.0 heads cam and intake and th400 but im also thinking of selling my 853 heads for some 243 and ls6 intake and th400 but not sure what route to go i need some advice or a path to go to 3000$ would be the peak limit on this so use that as a guidline thanks all input helps a ton !!!!

if all you have is 3k
get some 243 heads or try and find a good set of used aftermarket heads and get some bigger injectors like green svo 42lb's, then get a good dyno tune.. that should come close to 3k
and a th400? you planning on driving it alot on the street because there is no OD on it so highway runs will suffer..
3k is cutting it close with an engine swap because once you get the engine out you'll run into a list of stuff you never even thought of...

^^ omg I remember this. After you pull your motor you will say "oooooo im gonna go ahead and replace this while im in here, its only 40 bucks and will be easier".. BAAM!! Another grand gone before you know it and you have no idea what happened. LOL don't feel bad its happened to everyone.
