Default Anyone with 1st Gen LE Ported Trick Flow 195's???

Anyone around here got a set of these either on or off their car? Essentialy what I need to find out is what valve seals you're running. My heads were done by Lloyd back in 2006 and he doesn't have the part number or info. I really hate to take the car down to pull a seal off and run around looking, but if I have to I will. I just thought I'd see if I get lucky and find someone who's got a set that aren't on a car.

The ****? That's retarded. He doesn't even know if stock seals would work? If they do, stock will do just fine. If not, pull one and go to a machine shop.

One applicable post, one worthless post. And the stereotype holds up.

Should have mentioned that these were bare castings and had no supplied parts. Lloyd said he believes and .500 should work, but I'm just trying to be sure. Thanks for the link Joel, looks like i know what will work now. Appreciate the help.

I just find it astounding that info cannot be referenced from a shop that has worked on those heads before. It has nothing to do with a stereotype.

Flex body seals will work in a range.... those will work from .500-.530 or therabouts, I doubt you have larger than a .530 guide. You should be able to find something local in a flex body type.

Lloyd was pretty sure it was a .500 guide, I just wanted to be sure. I want to have a set on hand when I tear into it so if they're right then I can just press on, and if they're wrong, oh well, at least I tried. Not going to do them for a little while, still working some other bugs first, but it's on the list. Thanks guys.

most sbc guides are .500-.530. As long as you get a flex body type you're fine, teflon or viton need to be one size or the other.
