2001 6.0 and 5 speed swap in mudtruck idle issue and timing sticking
Iv been tring to help a buddy with tuning his 6.0 swapped toyota mudtruck. It has a custom rewired harness computer and motor all from a 2001 2500 silverado.
He also installed a ms4 cam in it but still has the stock truck intake and fbody exhaust manifolds. They are a really tight fit can't fit headers. Now for the problem.. It high Idles like it has a vacuum leak but we have tried every thing to find the leak and cant find one. It also has a issue with the timimng on the scanner the timming will stick at 8 degrees of advance and flat line there. Is there a sensor or something we need to try to change that would cause this issue with the timming?
if you have hptuners i can send you a copy of the tune file along with the scan log that shows what its doing.
