Spit shinning some CCW classics by hand! My hands feel like they about to fall off! lol but its worth it.. I have about 3-4 hours on this one wheel. I was looking around for a way to clean up these horrible looking ccw.
I was doing some research on different polishes to use on CCW rims and found some actual good stuff you can use local. The stuff I bought its called DIAMOND BRITE TRUCK BOX POLISH , work damn good when I tried it on a small spot.
Well here we go!
-This is how they look before anything done to them.
-After about one hour of Wet Sanding them down, started with 1000 then 1500 then 2000
-Tried it out on a small spot after wet sanding it
-Done with the lip!
-Then the final peace!
I think came out damn good for what they useto look like, Look way better in person but I think There is still more bling and shine to come out of these.The polish you can find it at ur local Lowes, they are located by all the metal and aluminum work boxes and ladders. Now Let me know whaT YOU THINK!

Nice work! Another way to do it is to stop by your local truck stop and see if they have a wheel polisher guy for the 18 wheelers. Those guys are experts and knock these out quick and cheap.

Agree never by hand,you got good results but when it comes to metal results will always be alot better with a machine of some type, its hard to heat things up by hand, they do look great though just trying to save you a few hours per rim and maybe save your arm from falling off

Lol no mames wey, I already ordered some 17s for the front! Do you still have those center caps that fit the drag pack?

Go buffer,powerball isnt the best,or you can pick up a few lil buffing wheels at home depot for under 10 bucks, slap them on your drill and go to town, they also come with 3 lil bars of metal compound,like i said the look great and you did a good job just trying to point you in the right direction

yeah the power ball sucked ***** lol so i did the same thing by hand this time wasnt so bad since I already had done one rim. Ill try to go to carlos house and use a buffer on it to finish them up they still have more shine on them.

Yea I already have my black ttms on it now I would like a polished set next.really wanted some billet specialties street lights but these fell in my lap for cheap

i use diamond its a white liquid they sell at advanced auto parts, when i had my classics i polished them up with that and came out really nice and clean the bottle is like 15 bucks. i got tired of cleaning wheels everytime i drove the car so i got black centers now.

Yea what I used its somewhat like that its called Diamond truck box Polish you can find it at Lowes where the truck boxes are at worked real good.

Nice results for sure! some guy at work was telling me about this polish cuz he used to drive big rigs... of course i didnt take his word for it cuz i tried a bunch of polish's! only one i had good luck with was mothers billet... didnt like blingmaster... i bought adams polish but have not tried it yet...
