Default Quick question on the LT1 oil pressure sender

Since mine is a later 1994 car, the sensor is a t the back of the drivers side head. When we put the motor in, we noticed that the retard who pulled it chopped off the pigtail.

I see replacement pigtails at local auto parts stores... but they are all 2 or 3 lead pigtails. Do I just chop off the 2 unneeded wires and hook up the pigtail to the harness? I just want to make sure I'm doing this right... The Camaro has 1 lead from the harness to the oil pressure sending unit.

You could buy the correct pigtail from eficonnection.com

If not cutting off the unnecessary lead is fine.

That. If you can get it cheaper at the parts store, go for it.

Most pigtails will have a lead for every cavity so they can fit multiple applications that might need them. Just depin or nip off the ones you don't need.
