Hey guys..thanks in advance

my 94 z28 just started (2 days ago) to where it wil not blow any air at all through the front dash vents. the floor and defrost vents still do blow the air, and it does get cold or hot with adjustment at the switch...but always blows only from defrost and floor vents

i was thinking maybe the switch...any other ideas guys?

OH OH I KNOW THIS!!! its a little plastic vacuum thing under your hood. It's like 2 bucks at a dealer. Look under the hood on the pass side by the AC unit. Its this small black thing, and it has 3, possibly 4 vacuum lines going to it. I guarantee one of them is cracked. Pull it off, and replace it.

its called a vacuum check valve. come to think of it, Autozone has them in the "HELP" section

Not a problem. Even if it doesnt look cracked, replace it anyways, 94's heat and AC was all vacuum operated. To describe the thing better, its black, it looks like a cylinder with a few hoses sticking out. its about 3/4 an inch in diameter, and a little over an inch tall. Also check all the lines going to it as best as possible

ok so i checked it...you were right..the line had popped out.....i put it back in and it all wokrs again...it was by the ECM though in my car.
