First post on this site:
Ok so I had my car serviced at a GM manufacturer and had a 4.10 rear end put in. They wrote down the original miles when they installed it. I drove it for years like this and (speedometer off as well) and just last month I bought a predator to correct the speedometer error. Well I went back to GM and they did calculations and said my car read 11,008 miles more than it should have because of this higher rear end ratio. So they reset it back to what it should of actually been for me. My concern is, when I moved states and took the car with me I re-did the title and gave them the odometer mileage. Now at 56,219 GM reset the mileage to 45,211. So that leads to my question:
is it possible to send off and have the people on the title change to show that the actual mileage is not the 54,xxx miles (mileage 4 months ago that they put down when I moved states) but that it rather is only 45,211 miles as of today....
