me and my best friend like messing around an he wanted to do some pulls, i didnt really want to due to my gears being to high, but i just decide to go with it lol

he has an 01 bullitt with 3.73s short throw and or/x with flowmaster 10s

i have a 2000 z28 a4 all stock excpt for slp lid and magnaflow cat-back

the first run i just left my car in drive and he honked it off and we went to 90mph, and he was a finder ahead of me.

the next run we did a pull from 30 and i left my car in 1st (a4), and he honked it of this time i was half a car ahead of him we went to 100mph

he was stunned that my stock z28 smoked his 01 bullitt with work done to it. sorry no video :/ ill get one next time.

I don't think you smoked him if he beat you by a fender the first time and you only pulled half a car on him the second time lol.

I was actually expecting you to beat him worse both times.

yeah i know, but i have a feeling that are cars are even. i have 295s on the back and i have 2.73s so my car takes awhile to get up in speed. haha plus the first race was like right after i got my car so i didnt know what the hell i was doing, but this last race was last night nd i've gotten better at race. lol

i remeber my 1st races i ever had ,whole diffrent story,than now,u learn from ur mistakes and u aldo need to know ur car ,its powerpoints..u should smoke that 2v..bone stock

What exactly is the difference bewteen a gt and a bullitt? I know its relation with the movie and such.

Power wise just the intake. But the car is heavier than a GT so it runs about the same.

Practice driving more. You should clobber him pretty well after 50MPH.

In terms of performance, higher flowing intake manifold, underdrive pulleys, high flow mufflers, lowering springs with Tokico shocks, subframe connectors, and larger Brembo brakes. Everything else was cosmetic for the most part.

I thought the 01 Bullitts were just cosmetic?

yeah, i've been practing with my launches and pulls, next time we race tho i will defiantly blow him away. but after the first of the year my car will pretty much be a cobra killer :devil:

nah he honked us off and the we took off and i got him inbetween 2nd and 3rd and i started to pull away and then he backed off. and thanks it was pretty fun for my first race
