I like this guy and this review much more than the guys at motor trend for these 2 cars. Also driving them around the streets of New York is a nice touch.

i like the guy. i like the way he talks about them, and the way he seemed to just blow off what his coworkers at the office were saying.

His power (and pricing) figures were off by a little bit (for the American spec versions at least) but other than that he seemed to be fairly unbiased in his assessments.
Seriously awesome cars, the both of them.

yea, at first, i thought he was just trying to be "pc" in his talking of them. then i turned off the "paranoid" in me, and realized he was giving what appeared to be an honest, and unbiased opinion of both cars.
i like how he kept comparing them to the m3's and m5's. both i think would lose handily to these cars.

He did end up liking the ZR1 though, eventhough it was plastic and the interior fell apart on him. Although I don't know how I keep my crappy interiors looking well and intact when they aren't as nice as a C6's, yet he manages to break that in a day.

also...they did do a comparison of the boss302 camaro ss challenger srt8 and corvette. personally i think they should've put the gt in there, not the boss......

That was a great review. I liked how
he conversed about the 2 cars. He had
great points about both but It's not
all about performance. It's about how the
car makes you feel driving it because
honestly you are not going to be at the
track everyday. So for me just by his review
I would choose the ZL1 and add another
70hp. Then you would have a competition...

the vette didn't count, and they stated such. it was pacing them...
the challenger never really had a chance. so it was ford vs chevy, and by doing it as they did, they stacked the deck in fords favor.

Despite whichever way the reviews lane I'm sure a power increase will be in the cards for the ZL1. I'd pass on this year and see what GM does.

Chris Harris seems to be very accurate is his assessment of these cars. Nice to see proper reviews. Unlike, Clarkson who is less talented at driving, biased and a clown in general, he is entertaining though. I just wish they would have posted some lap times and shown the cars going around the track during those timed laps, maybe even take them to a drag strip.

Overall that was nice. Pricing was way off!
I've been looking for a 500 to line up with. I had one on the hwy but we nodded in respect I guess. I did have my cutout open just in case. Really though the more I read these types of reviews the more I want a TVS.
For me I'd take both, the Ford sound and looks get me but the Camaro seems to call out besides if the Camaro wasn't so de-tunned it may beat it in HP.
