Well went out to the races this weekend and ran into a 402 goat. It was still stock 243s and intake and supposedly it put down 470. So we make some pulls and the results always the same, I would beat him from half a car to a car and half every time.

He was on drs and was starting in 1st gear and Im just on my regular nt05s starting from about 35ish in 2nd.

The bike was just a shits and giggles thing, I went to ne arkansas to tune some cars and he was there and I agreed to run him, I knew I was going to get whipped but oh well. He can ride the piss out of it, and he said it was tuned, full exhaust, sprockets and was on race gas. He has been 6.8s 1/8th mile in the summer heat recently.

The vids suck ass, because honestly my wife can't video worth a shit.....lol. SO fair warning.

Did the GTO have bone stock 243's or ported?

Your car looks good, btw.

that's embarrassing for the GTO idiot. First claiming an outrageous rwhp number (no way in hell with restrictive POS LS2 intake manifold, and even with a FAST intake 470rwhp is a big stretch for stock LS2 heads).

To lose you your 2010 SS that badly he would have to be making 40-50rwhp less then you. And your setup sounds like a 400-420rwhp setup right?

I put down 457 unlocked in 4th gear (1.15:1) picked up 69 rwhp with the cam swap. He just told me they were stock 243s but I would suspect they were at least milled or mildly ported, why not while they are off.

That goat isn't 470.

The road we run on is dark and it was for vid purpose. I doubt 470 as well, especially since he is lighter.

A kill is a kill, so good kill.
Funny that people flaunt such overinflated numbers.

is that Nico's GTO? If so it did put down 472whp and 443wtq.
His car needs a drive mod. I was in my GTO when it was stock(06) and beat his car with long tubes and full exhaust tune and nitrous(but did not spary until the last race and I still was at his back bumber) by about 4 or 5 cars.

457 through an unlocked converter. Granted our dyno at work isn't as generous as most dynojets.

I would say 118 to 120 if I had to guess.

My friend's heads/cam/stalled 2010 SS put down 445ish on a MD and traps 119 consistently, so I bet your guess is right on.

Nice runs. Bike result was expected but at least you had fun and good runs with the goat. :)

Ya know, the bikes driver mod makes more difference than in a car I think...lol. The night before the cbr, actually the same night I ran nico's goat, I ran a gsxr 600 and he got out to about 120 then I reeled him in. I was suprised as hell, then I got destroyed by probably a mid 10 sec cbr......lol

You're spot on with the bolded statement, but most people don't seem to accept that. People who race and beat bikes that should clearly murder them always come back with "Well I've raced six of those bikes and beat them all the same or worse. They can't all be bad riders." And my response is yes, yes they can. And yes they are. Unlike with cars, you'll be lucky to find one in ten random riders out there that could even come close to running a bike to its full potential, and even a mediocre rider is going to lose way worse than they should compared to a mediocre driver in a car. Everyone thinks you just whack the throttle and hold on. It's simply not the case. And on the smaller motor bikes where there's no torque down low, a gear or two too high is a death sentence against something that should be an easy kill.

Definitely true.

Most guys in the Des Moines area who buy bikes just mainly did so because they lacked the capacity and money to mod a car to it's fullest potential.

These same guys buy bikes, brag about how fast their bikes are and how much they just demolish cars and are the same guys who shift horribly, don't tuck when they race, and are usually the ones who lay down their bikes. I had one guy who would talk so much crap to me in my old LT1 TA after he sold his 300zx turbo who laid his bike down SIX times before deciding to finally call it quits and sell it
