02 4l60 in a 96 impala?
Has anyone ever swaped a 02 f body ls1 4l60 into a 96 impala? I need to know what changes I need to make I'm sure I'll have to move the lines around a little but what tale shaft/housing will I have to use? Any other mods? I know the electronics will work.

I thought the bell housing was different and will not fit on a GENII?

The bolt pattern will bolt right up its stuff like crossmembers and drive shafts from what I've read it's gonna be a easy swap

I believe there will be an issue with converter depth causing you to need a custom converter or some sort of spacer.

b-body tailshaft housing.

I would talk to a good tranny guy about the electronics of it all

Actually I would just get your tranny rebuilt by someone good.
