I was thinking the same thing. I think the early ones were capable of 100-102 stock.

My 06 in negative DA went 101 at best. Something isn't right with his setup. He wasted a lot of money somewhere, which is common in Z's. Most full bolt on cars with good drivers are in the 106-109 range on the east. What year Z? I'm going to say 03-05 but 06 is a small possibility. I know for sure it's not an HR since it's quite rare for someone to purchase the JWT cams that were just released for them.

Yeah I felt like it should have run alot stronger. I dont know if he trapped 104 as it sits now. It ran down a solid Mach 1 that made close to 400whp N/A

This doesn't make sense. He ran down a Mach that made close to 400 rwhp N/A off the bottle? I'm not afraid to run a 104 mph Z. Hell not afraid to run any bolt on Z for that matter but a 400 rwhp Mach 1 I would honestly expect it to put cars on me and I put cars on bolt on Z's. Should be good for 112-115 mph traps?

How many fatties were in the 400rwhp Mach that a 104 trap Z can track it down? I'm not saying the Mach wasn't 400rwhp but it would almost have to have an increase in displacement or not be that street friendly.
