My 06 in negative DA went 101 at best. Something isn't right with his setup. He wasted a lot of money somewhere, which is common in Z's. Most full bolt on cars with good drivers are in the 106-109 range on the east. What year Z? I'm going to say 03-05 but 06 is a small possibility. I know for sure it's not an HR since it's quite rare for someone to purchase the JWT cams that were just released for them.

Hell not afraid to run any bolt on Z for that matter but a 400 rwhp Mach 1 I would honestly expect it to put cars on me and I put cars on bolt on Z's. Should be good for 112-115 mph traps?

That is a really weak trap for all the mods that Z has. Hell stock ones almost trap 104. I was trapping 103 with just intake and full exhaust in mine.

350z are garbage power wise without FI or nitrous. i can't tell you how many bolton 350z i walked away from easily in my 370z. walked a bolton HR too. the VQ3.5 just does not respond well to bolt-ons. the guy would have been better off getting a used 370z.

Yea, you can't just add cams to a VQ and expect it to be quick. You have to make sure your head work is on point along with your tune. But theres a good reason why you don't see alot of built n/a Zs.

It don't take a huge cam to get there. A hot cam or ls6 cam with full bolt-ons can get to upper 300's. Those are not very big. Lunati has some very nice cams for these engines also.

KFC or bust made 420 with a big cam with a stock LS1 intake, stock UDP, and stock TB and stock 98-00 heads ;)
