Just screwing around, Evan took the hit then babied the shifts thinking he was going to get raped, i started in 5th and had to tuck on the side of the camera which made it a great race.

Dead even @ 150 as i hit the aerodynamic wall. My speedometer is calibrated BTW.

Im looking to gather all the RI guys and CT guys for a day of some friendly races, food, beer, etc. Plan on it being a weekend a few weeks out. Taking opinions on what weekend would should do this. I want everyone in attendance. Going to be August 18th until further notice. If it need to be post poned for a better turn out or weather then plan for the next weekend. Location hasnt been completely determined. I know personally in my area where we can meet (Warwick RI). Open to ideas

Ill be bringing my camera. If i can get some good footage, ill be putting this into a mini movie.

Kill Story: I killed my stock shifter with my hurst shifter... it was a tough battle between shift firmness/harder shifting and shift sloppyness/softer shifting... but in the end... the hurst shifter with bent handle and stock ball prevailed. Awesome shift control!

in my defense... i super slow shifted thinking at higher speeds it wasnt going to be a race. We were gonna do it again but it rained. We will do this again and it will be a bit close next time.

420/530 through an auto can't be a slow car. I'd imagine you'll fit comfortably in the mix.

It was just a bad spot on that highway to race. As much as i love some straights on 95S and N because they are straight and 4 lanes, there is always traffic.
