General LSX Automobile Discussion - Will a 99/2000 5.3 engine interchange with a 2004?

I trashed the engine in my 04 Avalanche (5.3) and have a lower mileage 1999/2000 engine "in stock" - Will this work if I change the intake/throttle body to the DBW from the 04? Anything else preventing this swap?
