1993 lt1 misfire...bosch o2s
so i just finished deleting my egr stuff and installing longtubes. i put heated o2s on(bosch units). car ran great for a few days and now i've developed a misfire/stumbling issue. also when this started happening my fans wont come on. i have an slp switch and it has always worked until this misfire issue. could the ECT be causing this or these bosch o2s? i have a madz28 tune but need to get a new one for the egr delete. could the tune be dirtying up the o2s? is there anyway to datalog with 93s?

Bosch O2's are known to cause issues with LT1's....and are generally frowned upon by the LT1 community because of that. Try some REAL ACdelco AFS75 sensors, the ones that GM installed from the factory.....they are probably even cheaper than the boschs if you get them on Amazon...only $32.35

Are your long tubes coated. A new ceramic coating has been known, or rumored, to foul out O2 sensors until the headers have been through a few heat cycles, or the "newness" of the coating has burned off. The Bosch O2 sensors are also known to cause issues.

I really hope the bosch o2's are your issue. My car runs, but who knows how well its running or how well it ever ran. I ran bosch o2's for about a year and i know Ive felt a power loss and my idle seemed to have gotten rougher. Also at the track my temp gauge was acting up, probably due to how rich the car was running due to the bosch o2's.
Its a complete rip off that bosch can market a product for a vehicle when it works so horribly. Its not even an OE replacement or factory part. Its just a garbage universal o2 sensor.
WE need to compile a list of garbage parts to never buy for an lt1 fbody. Having problems due to a brand of o2 sensor is just horseshit.

The fans dont come on with the key on, there not comin on with the a/c either. The headers are uncoated. When i check for codes i get 12 and 15 so system normal and coolant circut. I put a new ect in with no change. I jumped the the relays and the fans did come on.

So i unplugged my o2s and it smoothed out no misfire but my fans still wont come on. I checked all the wiring and switches everything seems good. Im wondering if it could be the pcm. Im gonna pull out the piggy back adapter and chip and see if that changes anything. Im gonna get datamaster and the cAble next paycheck.

Jumping the relay and the fans comming on would point to a bad relay wouldnt it? I think you need to check the relay...your saying you took the relay out and jumped the terminals and the fans came on...correct?

Yea well im retarded. I deleted my abs and air pump, so i pulled all the abs fuses and air pump relay. I put it all back in and sure enough the fans started working. Still have the misfire with my o2s plugged in. If i unplug one it smooths out. Im gonna take back these o2s and get new ones. If that cures my misfire ill order up some acdelco's
